Advocate Sherman invites you to Christmas service Dec. 20

Advocate Sherman Hospital will host its annual pre-Christmas service at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 20, at the hospital campus, 1425 N. Randall Road in Elgin. Held on the lower level near the cafe, this is an opportunity for the community to celebrate the holiday season.

The service will feature prayers, readings, carols and lighting of the Advent candles.

This annual event, hosted by the Department of Mission and Spiritual Care at Advocate Sherman Hospital, is one of many opportunities Sherman offers throughout the year for the community to celebrate various holidays and traditions reflected in the hospital and community.

This event is free and open to the public.

Stop by the Perk or the Tree House Gift Shop for the "12 Days of Giving" promotion. With each receipt from the Perk or the gift shop, dated Dec. 13-24, customers will receive one entry into the "12 Days of Giving" raffle. One winner will be chosen daily to receive a $5 Perk gift certificate, $5 Tree House gift certificate, Perk shirt, and a Christmas gift shop item. Winners also will be entered to receive one of four grand prizes which will be drawn on Christmas Eve.
