Inland sells Beecher golf course community

OAK BROOK - Inland Real Estate Brokerage & Consulting said it has sold 281 platted lots for 371 approved residential single-family homes and duplexes at The Preserve at Cardinal Creek, a 27-hole established golf course community in Beecher, Illinois.

Terms of the sale were not announced.

The Preserve at Cardinal Creek includes a full amenity clubhouse, fitness center, a pool and recreation center. The purchase included the transfer of $1.7 million in sewer, water and recapture credits.

"This was a great opportunity play for the purchaser, an Australian-based residential subdivision buyer with a real appetite for suburban Chicago projects," said Paul Rogers, president of Inland Brokerage & Consulting and the broker for the transaction. "We were engaged about four months by the time we identified the buyer and secured the transaction within 30 days thereafter."
