Liverpool concedes more sloppy goals in 2-2 draw vs West Ham

LIVERPOOL, England (AP) - Liverpool conceded two more sloppy goals to draw 2-2 with West Ham in another setback to its Premier League title challenge on Sunday.

Under-fire goalkeeper Loris Karius, whose fumble gifted Bournemouth an injury-time winner last weekend, got a hand to Dimitri Payet's 27th-minute free kick but failed to keep it out as West Ham canceled out Adam Lallana's opening goal in the fifth minute.

Liverpool's defense then allowed a long ball down the middle to get through to Michail Antonio, who prodded a finish past a static Karius to give the visitors the lead in the 39th.

"The goals could have been avoided," Liverpool manager Juergen Klopp said.

Another mistake, this time from West Ham goalkeeper Darren Randolph, earned Liverpool a point. Randolph flapped at Sadio Mane's cross and the ball fell to the feet of Divock Origi, who tapped home from close range in the 48th

Randolph tipped over a long-range curling shot from Jordan Henderson late on to preserve the draw that lifted West Ham out of the relegation zone. Swansea dropped back into the bottom three.
