Deep breath and relax? Have at it, Mr. Lauzen.

The suggestion by Kane County Board Chairman Chris Lauzen that the reporting by Daily Herald correspondent James Fuller is anything but informative and unbiased is disturbing.

How else can average conscientious voters keep tabs on the actions of the elected "professional politicians" that represent them without such professional journalism? Was his plea for professionalism aimed at the members of his board?

I would like to thank the Fox Valley editions of the Herald for their service to the community and this section especially where both elected professionals and the concerned public have equal opportunity to exercise their First Amendment right. If Mr. Lauzen feels the board should take a deep breath and relax, have at it, but I think the average American, regardless of party affiliation, is in no mood.
