Why not tax sanctuary?

We here in suburban Cook now know why we pay 10 percent sales tax, soon 1 cent per ounce soda tax and 7 cents for using plastic bags, because Cook needs more money in order to defy federal law and harbor illegal criminals. If Rahm can decide which laws to obey and which laws to ignore, can Arlington Heights please become a sanctuary village and decide not to pay any taxes to Cook?
