Expect many flip-flops from Trump

David Gersen in his recent column argues that Mr. Trump's hypocrisy is a good thing for the nation.

Mr. Gersen is inaccurate, however, in his analysis of the president-elect's actions and rhetoric as hypocritical. Hypocrisy assumes that one has moral principles and ideals. Mr. Trump is devoid of any principle except self-interest. Thus, he willingly changes his tune about various issues whenever it serves his narcissism.

Expect many policy flip-flops given that we will soon have a self-promoting huckster in the White House.
