Dist. 21's Pritzker re-elected as head of state education group

Longtime Wheeling Township Elementary District 21 board member Phil Pritzker has been unanimously re-elected as president of the Illinois Association of School Boards, a statewide organization representing more than 6,000 board members and nearly 850 member school districts across the state.

The vote took place last month at the group's Joint Annual Conference.

Pritzker is entering his second year as the group's president, and previously served as its vice president. He is the longest-serving school board member in District 21 history, having been appointed in July 1989, and re-elected seven times.
