St. Viator rolls past Joliet Catholic

St. Viator's girls basketball team made it longest road trip of the season on Thursday night.

And the Lions made it a long night for host Joliet Catholic Academy.

The Lions built a 25-8 lead at half and 33-12 after three quarters en route to a 49-13 triumph over the Angels in the East Suburban Catholic opener in Joliet.

The Lions, coming off a 44-30 victory on Tuesday night in their own Cahill Gymnasium, improved to 3-5 overall with their third straight win.

Next up for coach Jason Raymond's Lions is a trip to Lake Zurich on Tuesday.
