Grayslake museum hosts open house Sunday

The Grayslake Historical Society will host an open house from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 11, at the museum, 164 Hawley St., Grayslake.

The event will feature a visit from Santa Claus, Christmas music, crafts, refreshments and historic museum displays. Visitors can have their picture taken with Santa in a vintage sleigh, view the giving trees exhibit and hear Christmas songs sung by the Warren Township High School Alumni Choir. The choir's performance is scheduled for 2 p.m.

The gift shop will be open to Christmas shoppers.
