Kerr connects as Grant tops Antioch

John Kerr scored 25 points and grabbed 12 rebounds, as Grant's boys basketball team defeated host Antioch 68-51 in Northern Lake County Conference action Wednesday night.

Grant (2-4, 2-0) led 47-26 after three quarters and, up 25 points, emptied the bench a couple minutes into the fourth.

Antioch fell to 2-4 and 1-1.

Grayslake Central 66, Round Lake 47: The host Rams snapped a four-game skid by picking up a victory in Northern Lake County action.

Senior forward Ryan Spicer and senior guard Sidney Goodman both had 12 points to lead a balanced scoring effort for Grayslake Central (2-5, 1-1). Billy Drevline had 10 points, and Jack Spalding and Carter Trowitch had 9 apiece.

Junior guard Chris Pierre led Round Lake (1-5, 0-2) with 15 points, which included an 8-for-9 effort at the foul line. The Panthers dropped their fifth straight.
