Bereaved parents plan candle-lighting ceremony

The Fox Valley Chapter of The Compassionate Friends, a national nonprofit support organization for families following the death of a child of any age or from any cause, will hold its annual indoor candle-lighting ceremony at the next meeting on Friday, Dec. 9.

The group welcomes all bereaved parents and adult family members to its meetings at 7:30 p.m. the second Friday of each month in the Dunleavy Conference Room at Presence Mercy Medical Center's Behavioral Health Building, 1325 N. Highland Ave, Aurora. Participants can park in the east parking lot, and enter through the three-story brick building facing Lake Street.
