Mundelein High music competition

The Mundelein High School instrumental music department will host its annual concerto competition Thursday, Dec. 8, and it's open to the public. The competition will begin at 4 p.m. in the school auditorium, 1350 W. Hawley St. Admission is free. Students will perform solo work with accompaniment. The winner and runner-up will perform solo with one of the ensembles at a spring concert.
