Earlham trustees name 1 of their own to be next president
RICHMOND, Ind. (AP) - Earlham College says its trustees have named Alan C. Price to be the liberal arts school's 18th president.
The school said Tuesday that Price will take office July 1.
Price, who has served on Earlham's Board of Trustees since last July, currently is the associate director of management for the Peace Corps and is acting chief of staff for the Federal Mediation and Conciliation Service.
Price majored in economics at Earlham, graduating in 1988, and graduated from Harvard Law School in 1992. The school says Price is an expert in change management and leadership development and has worked as consultant to major corporations.
