Prospect Heights Police Department holds food drive

The Prospect Heights Police Department held another successful food drive for families in need thanks to the generosity of Prospect Heights residents and the neighboring community.

Thanks to Jewel-Osco, 333 Euclid Ave., Alderman Matthew Dolick volunteered at the donation table inside while the Prospect Heights Police Department setup a van in the parking lot to collect nonperishable food items.

After the van was filled, the food items were delivered to the Harper College Learning and Career Center, 1375 S. Wolf Road, for the Tuesday, Nov. 22, food drive. More than 30 Prospect Heights families in need benefited from the donated food items.

To all who provided food item donations and all volunteers, thanks for giving this holiday season!
