CLC to host Shakespeare benefit
"Lunatics, Lovers and Poets," a celebration of William Shakespeare to benefit theater students at the College of Lake County, is 7:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 9, in the Studio Theatre, James Lumber Center for the Performing Arts on the Grayslake campus, 19351 W. Washington St. Audience members will step back in time to enjoy performances of Shakespeare monologues, scenes, sonnets and songs performed by CLC faculty, staff, students and community members. All net proceeds will benefit theater student success initiatives, such as sending students to the regional Kennedy Center American College Theater Festival in Indianapolis in January. Tickets: $12 general admission; $10 BOGO (buy one, get one free) tickets for CLC students (limit of two tickets per CLC student ID).
