Des Plaines Bank & Trust to open Thursday

A ribbon cutting is scheduled for Thursday morning at Des Plaines Bank & Trust in unincorporated Maine Township.

The new bank at the northeast corner of Potter and Ballard is a Wintrust community bank. In addition to the ribbon cutting at 10 a.m., the bank is hosting an open house through Saturday, offering guests free lunch coolers and the chance to win prizes.

The lobby and drive-through will be open 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday.
