Author Natalie Moore speaks at Schaumburg library Dec. 14

Natalie Moore, author of "The South Side: A Portrait of Chicago and American Segregation," will present a program based on her book from 7 to 8:30 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 14, in the Rasmussen North Room of the Central Library, 130 S. Roselle Road in Schaumburg.

Moore will entwine the story of her life with the ongoing segregation that continues to be a strong part of the culture on Chicago's South Side.

There is no fee required for this program, but registration is required.
