Oh, the irony of a Trump election

How deeply fitting that the first presidential election in 50 years to be held without the protections of the Voting Rights Act should be won with a minority of the votes cast via an archaic electoral system originally enacted to appease southern slave states - by a man endorsed by the Ku Klux Klan.
