Lincolnshire leaf collection extended

Lincolnshire's residential leaf-collection program will be extended one week, officials have announced. Final curbside pickups will be made between Dec. 5 and 9, throughout the village. Leaves must be raked to within 3 feet of the curb on the parkway. Do not put leaves in the street, and do not block leaf piles with vehicles. Leaves should be in place by 7 a, m. Dec. 5. The extension won't have any financial impact on residents. Village officials aren't yet sure whether the cost will be covered by the village or Waste Management.
