Authorities: 2 dead in Indiana crash involving buggy, pickup
FORT WAYNE, Ind. (AP) - Authorities say two people are dead and two others injured following a crash involving a horse-and-buggy and pickup truck in northeastern Indiana.
The crash happened Sunday night in Allen County and the sheriff's department says they were looking for the pickup's driver, who left the truck and fled. The department says two women died and two men were taken to the hospital, including one in critical condition and one in serious condition.
The department says two other crashes involving horse-and-buggies happened nearby, but those crashes were not related to the fatal crash and didn't involve life-threatening injuries.
The crashes are under investigation.
