Leyden Speech and Drama Team at Prospect High School Tournament

The Leyden Speech and Drama Team competed in a JV/Novice Tournament at Prospect High School on Saturday, Nov. 12. Award winners included team members Jamiaya Brown, Jake Schwartz, Kiara Raña, and Jennifer Saenz.

Brown, a first-year competitor, placed second in Radio Speaking, Schwartz took third place in Impromptu Speaking, Raña placed sixth in Radio Speaking, and Saenz, also a first-year competitor, placed sixth in Poetry Reading.

The team will compete again at the Hersey JV tournament on Dec. 3.
