3 questioned after fatal stabbing near race course stables
STICKNEY, Ill. (AP) - Two men and a woman are being questioned after the fatal stabbing of a man near horse stables at a racetrack southwest of Chicago.
Police on Thursday say the stabbing at the Hawthorne Race Course in Stickney came during a fight Wednesday evening between two men.
A racetrack spokesman says the men involved in the fight didn't work directly for Hawthorne. The fight occurred in the race course's back stretch where the stable hands' quarters are located.
A motive for the stabbing has not been determined. No charges had been filed as of Thursday morning.
The victim died of multiple stab wounds.
