No. 5 Clemson looks to clinch division title at Wake Forest

No. 5 Clemson (9-1, 6-1 ACC, No. 4 CFP) at Wake Forest (6-4, 3-3), 7 p.m. (ESPN)

Line: Clemson by 22ˆ½.

Series record: Clemson leads 63-17-1.

WHAT'S AT STAKE

Two key goals for the Tigers: clinching a share of the Atlantic Division and the berth in the ACC championship game that will come with it (they hold the tiebreaker with Louisville), and maintaining their spot as one of the top four teams in the College Football Playoff rankings. The Demon Deacons led in the fourth quarter of last week's loss at No. 3 Louisville and want to prove they can finish against an elite opponent and give third-year coach Dave Clawson a signature victory.

KEY MATCHUP

Clemson's offensive line vs Wake Forest's defensive front. The Tigers have protected QB Deshaun Watson pretty well, with their total of 13 sacks allowed in 10 games, ranking second to Pittsburgh in the ACC. It will be up to DE Duke Ejiofor - who's tied for third in the league with nine sacks - and the Wake Forest pass rush to pressure Watson, who's throwing more often and running far less frequently this season.

PLAYERS TO WATCH

Clemson: DT Dexter Lawrence, a freshman from Wake Forest, North Carolina, has a team-best 19 QB pressures and in last week's loss to Pitt had nine tackles, a fumble recovery and two blocked kicks.

Wake Forest: S Jessie Bates leads the team in tackles and has five interceptions - among ACC players, only Tarvarus McFadden of Florida State has more - and will look for more against Watson, who was picked off three times in the Pitt loss.
