Big 12 title chase: No 8 Oklahoma plays at No. 10 WVU

No. 8 Oklahoma (8-2, 7-0 Big 12, No. 9 CFP) at No. 10 West Virginia (8-1, 5-1, No. 14 CFP), 8 p.m. (ABC)

WHAT'S AT STAKE

Oklahoma can wrap up the Big 12 championship with a win over the Mountaineers coupled with an Oklahoma State loss at TCU. West Virginia can take the title if it wins its final three games and if No. 13 Oklahoma State loses one of its final two games. The Sooners and Cowboys meet Dec. 3 in Norman, Oklahoma. The league instituted a tiebreaker rule last year that brings head-to-head matchups into play.

KEY MATCHUP

Oklahoma WR Dede Westbrook vs. West Virginia's secondary. Westbrook had five catches for 107 yards against the Mountaineers a year ago. This year he's tied for second in the country in yards receiving per game at 125.4 and in touchdown catches with 14. West Virginia has allowed the fewest yards per pass attempt (6.5) in the Big 12.

PLAYERS TO WATCH

Oklahoma: RBs Joe Mixon and Samaje Perine. Mixon had 187 yards from scrimmage against Baylor last week and Perine ran for 100 yards and two TDs after missing three games with a pulled muscle in his right leg. They were held to a combined 108 rushing yards against the Mountaineers a year ago.

West Virginia: QB Skyler Howard. Howard was great over the first six games but has been erratic of late with five interceptions in his last three games. The Sooners intercepted him three times last season but are allowing 297 yards through the air this year.

Oklahoma is the only Big 12 team that West Virginia hasn't beaten since the Mountaineers entered the league in 2012. ... West Virginia has the league's top scoring defense (20.6 points) and Oklahoma is second both in average scoring (44.2) and total offense (557 yards). ... Oklahoma enters with a 14-game conference winning streak.
