Naperville Park District Recognized for Excellence in Financial Reporting

The Government Finance Officers Association of the U. S. and Canada (GFOA) recently informed the Naperville Park District that the District has received the Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting award for its 2015 Comprehensive Annual Financial Report. This award recognizes organizations that go beyond the minimum requirements of generally accepted accounting principles to prepare a report that communicates clearly with full disclosure.

The District has received the award annually since 1991. Copies of the District's Comprehensive Annual Financial Report from 2008 to 2015 may be viewed online at http://www.napervilleparks.org/cafrbudgettreasurersreport . The reports are audited by a licensed, certified public accounting firm each year following the close of its fiscal year, which runs from January 1 to December 31.
