Skokie Valley to hold bike path hearing

The Lake County Division of Transportation will conduct a public hearing Tuesday, Nov. 29 on potential improvements and an extension of the existing Skokie Valley Bike Path in Lake County over Lake-Cook Road into Cook County. The hearing, to be conducted in an open house format, will be 5 to 7 p.m. at the Highland Park police station, 1677 Old Deerfield Road. Proposed improvements and the tentative construction schedule will be presented and preliminary reports, drawings, maps and aerial renderings will be available for review.
