Sheriff's office hosting town hall meeting

The last of five Lake County sheriff's office town hall meetings is Wednesday, Nov. 16, 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Kildeer Countryside Elementary School, 3100 Old McHenry Road, Long Grove. The meetings are held to engage the community in conversation, and interactively discuss the many initiatives the sheriff's office is leading in Lake County. Items to be discussed include: implementation of body-worn cameras, mental health initiatives, procedural justice programs, and discussion of the many other programs and responsibilities of the sheriff's office.
