Littelfuse's Hunter to become executive chairman, Heinzmann to move to CEO

CHICAGO - Littelfuse Chairman, President, and Chief Executive Officer Gordon Hunter will become executive chairman, effective Jan. 1, 2017, the company announced.
Chief Operating Officer Dave Heinzmann will replace Hunter as president and CEO at that time and will join the company's board of directors, bringing the size of the board to eight members.
Hunter joined the Littelfuse board of directors in 2002. He served as chief operating officer from 2003-2005, and was named president and chief executive officer and elected chairman of the board of directors in 2005.

Heinzmann, 53, has been chief operating officer since 2014. He began his career at the company in 1985 as a manufacturing engineer and has held positions of increasing responsibility since that time. From 2004-2007, he served as vice president and general manager, automotive segment, and then as vice president, global operations until January 2014. He holds a bachelor of science degree in mechanical engineering from Missouri University of Science and Technology.
