Recycle holiday lights at Naperville Park District
Residents and businesses are invited to bring their old, nonworking holiday lights to be recycled through the Naperville Park District.
For the sixth year, the park district is coordinating a holiday lights recycling program beginning Nov. 18 and ending Feb. 10, 2017.
Mini-lights, C-7, C-9, rope and LED lights will be accepted, along with extension cords.
The following park district locations will be collecting lights for recycling:
• Alfred Rubin Riverwalk Community Center, 305 W. Jackson Ave. Hours: 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays; 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturdays.
• Fort Hill Activity Center, 20 Fort Hill Drive. Hours: 5 a.m. to 10 p.m. weekdays; 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturdays; 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sundays.
• Knoch Knolls Nature Center, 320 Knoch Knolls Road. Hours: 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. weekdays; 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturdays; 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sundays, Nov. 20 ad 27.
