Free movies in Arlington Heights next weekend
Paragon Theaters in Arlington Heights will celebrate its grand opening in the former Star Cinema Grill movie theater by offering free movies until 6 p.m. Nov. 19 and Nov. 20.
A percentage of concession proceeds throughout the weekend also will be donated to the Wheeling Township Food Pantry, the theater announced this week.
Florida-based Paragon Theaters recently acquired Star Cinema Grill in the village's downtown and has renamed it Paragon Arlington Heights. Paragon has added electric recliner seating with footrests and swivel tables at all six of the auditoriums, along with updates to the theater's concession stand and bar, according to the company.
