100 pounds of marijuana, cash discovered by Indiana trooper

PUTNAMVILLE, Ind. (AP) - Indiana State Police say 100 pounds of marijuana and more than $6,000 in cash have been seized during a vehicle stop in Putnam County.

A trooper stopped a Toyota SUV for driving too close to another vehicle Friday on eastbound Interstate 70. Police describe the marijuana as "high grade' with an estimated value of $400,000.

A 24-year-old woman from Garden Grove, California, was arrested and taken to the Putnam County jail. She was driving to Pittsburgh from California.
