Man, woman dead in northwest Indiana with gunshot wounds

LOWELL, Ind. (AP) - Authorities say two 61-year-olds have been found dead with gunshot wounds in northwest Indiana.
Circumstances of Tuesday's deaths weren't immediately released, but the Lake County coroner's office says the man and woman were declared dead at the scene in Lowell.
The Chicago Sun-Times reports the woman had multiple gunshot wounds and the man was shot once.
The Lake County sheriff's department is assisting Lowell police on an investigation. Names weren't released, pending notification of family members.
