Larsen, Zay keep District 6 seats on DuPage County board
Two Republican incumbents are keeping their District 6 seats on the DuPage County Board, based on unofficial election results.
With all precincts reporting, Jim Zay of Carol Stream and Robert Larsen of Wheaton are set to take the 2-year seat and 4-year seat, respectively.
Larsen is a retired Marine and attorney who has been on the board since 2010. He beat Democrat Michael Dobosiewicz with roughly 56 percent of the vote.
Zay has been on the board since 1999 and serves as chairman of the DuPage Water Commission. He beat Democrat Laurie Nowak with about 52 percent of the vote.
The district covers all or parts of Bartlett, Hanover Park, Carol Stream, West Chicago, Wayne, Roselle, Bloomingdale, Glendale Heights, Wheaton, Winfield, Naperville, Warrenville, Aurora and St. Charles.
