Lake Villa Historical Society

The Lake Villa Historical Society will meet Tuesday, Nov. 15, at 223 Lake Ave., Lake Villa, and the guest speaker will be Ed O'Brien, who will make a presentation on the "Reflections on World War II." O'Brien will discuss several issues that drew our nation into the war and highlight leaders and homefront support. He will have several items on display. O'Brien is a former school principal and superintendent. The historical society's business meeting is at 6:30 p.m., followed by the program at 7 p.m. The public is welcome.
