Cook County Vital Records offices closing for Election Day

The Cook County Clerk's Bureau of Vital Records offices will be closed Tuesday due to the Presidential Election.

Customers will not be able to apply for birth, marriage, domestic partnership and death records at clerk's locations, including those in the Rolling Meadows courthouse, 2121 Euclid Ave. An exception will be made for funeral directors, who may file death records only at the clerk's downtown Chicago location, 50 W. Washington St.

All Vital Records offices will reopen on Wednesday.
