Fall Harvest Market returns Nov. 20

The community is invited the Fall Harvest Market from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 20, at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Elgin, 39W830 Highland Ave., three miles west of Randall Road.

This free event features sustainably produced foods and handmade craft products.

Farm vendors will offer a variety of fresh greens, grains, apples, strawberry transplants, Jersey cheese and cheese curds, Wild Alaskan salmon and other sustainably caught fish, pasture-raised beef, pork, turkey and chicken, honey, beeswax candles, gourd creations, prepared salsas, dips, spreads, pasta, granola, veggie burgers tea blends and brewing supplies, fair trade coffees, teas and chocolate.

Community craft vendors will have nature photo note cards, handcrafted soaps, homemade skin care and hygiene products, crochet and knit goodies, and ink pen art.

Sales are usually by cash or check; a few vendors accept credit cards.
