Two Mobil service stations robbed in Arlington Heights
Two Mobil service stations were robbed over a two-day period last week in Arlington Heights, police said.
In the first one, a man pointed a gun at a clerk around 3:41 a.m. Oct. 30 at the station at 3005 E. Rand Road and demanded money. He was described as a black male, 25-30 years old and wearing a black snow hat, plaid scarf over his face, gray coat, gloves and navy blue sweatpants.
In the second robbery, a man pointed a knife at a clerk around 12:49 a.m. Oct. 31 at the station at 1880 S. Arlington Heights Road and demanded money. He was wearing a black mask, black pants, black hooded sweatshirt and carrying a red backpack.
