Japanese auto supplier to locate new facility in Indiana

WASHINGTON, Ind. (AP) - A Japan-based automotive industry parts supplier plans to establish operations in Indiana.
Officials say the project announced this week in Washington, Indiana, by M&C Tech Indiana could create up to 70 new jobs by 2021.
The company, which is a joint venture between Moriroku Chemicals and Chubu Chemicals, will invest $4.6 million to build a 40,000-square-foot factory to manufacture plastic parts for the auto industry. Construction is expected to be completed in 2017.
The Indiana Economic Development Corp. offered M&C Tech Indiana up to $275,000 in conditional tax credits and up to $40,000 in training grants based on the company's job creation plans.
