Only one choice: Clinton

America is great because this is a nation of diversity that works together. No other country has the proven internal strength fostered by our immigrant heritage of religious, ethnic, and racial backgrounds.

Only a leader who truly believes in our democratic principles is qualified to be President, and that person is Hillary Clinton.

When Trump first entered the Republican primaries, most Republicans did not take his candidacy seriously; and the media gave this TV reality personality free publicity to the eventual chagrin of the Republican Party.

In its endorsement of Clinton, The Daily Herald stated a most disturbing insight into Trump: "His naiveté and shortsightedness on foreign affairs is frightening. Positions he has endorsed hold the potential to lead on the one hand to full-fledged jihad or on the other to nuclear war."

As Richard C. Longworth, distinguished fellow at the Chicago Council on Global Affairs wrote regarding Trump: "Too many countries fell for a charismatic megalomaniac (Adolf Hitler or Benito Mussolini), or succumbed to a shameless demagogue (Juan Peron) ... When the citizens of their countries cheered their rise to power, they knew - or should have known-what they were getting.... . All believed they could control the demagogues they helped gain power."

I have four teenage grandsons, and I worry about their future. Do I want a president who has the knowledge, experience, diplomacy, and mental stability to deal with world leaders and situations? Or do I want a self-centered, say-anything bully totally lacking in diplomatic skills?

I want my grandsons to live in a secure nation that believes in its constitutional inclusive values. I don't want them subjected to a military draft for a senseless military engagement caused by a shoot-from-the-hip egomaniac.

This presidential election offers only one choice: Hillary Clinton.
