Just can't rely on Trump
Not to say that Clinton's email carelessness, etc. compare to the extreme character flaws in Trump, but we need to learn from this dreadful campaign how each would govern as president.
I'm scared of Trump's impetuousness and shallow thinking about major issues. As president, my hopes would be that Trump would appoint smart, balanced people who'd guide him to sage, astute actions/policies and begin to "act presidential."
He tried for several weeks, then stopped; "I am unshackled now." He continually ignores his competent staff even as his campaign declines daily. Would he be different as president? Not-a-chance.
Remember that he knows more than the generals? And "only he can fix it"? We could hope that his Republican congressmen and party could help to control him. Think. Any sight of that? Internationally? He admires Putin (a role model?). Nuclear arms proliferation is "OK." NATO's role should be diminished. No doubt he'd insult world leaders as he does any who disagree.
He would tear the world apart as he has, divisively, done to us all every day for a year. Trump promises worldwide bedlam. Some may think this good, but it's not. Clinton has secretive tendencies and uses doublespeak. But "lock her up" is a silly, Trump absurdity. She holds her party philosophies but is still a non-extreme moderate like both Bushes, Ryan, Bill Clinton, Dole, Gore, McCain, Obama, Reagan and Romney.(alphabetically).
They were all responsible statesmen who listened and realized that they must compromise to govern.
We would survive a Clinton presidency. We all hope a quality leader will arise and begin to change our nation responsibly. It's just not Trump.
