Wheeling man facing drug charges pleads guilty to traffic violation
A Wheeling man initially charged with drug offenses pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor traffic violation after a judge ruled police searched his car illegally.
Jamie Alvarado, 31, was sentenced to 12 months of conditional discharge and 300 hours of community service in exchange for pleading guilty last week to driving on a revoked or suspended license, according to court records.
Alvarado was also ordered to pay $239 in fines.
