Candidate who's impacted young lives

Please join me in supporting Jim Zay for DuPage County Board District 6 during this election season.

Jim is someone who has greatly impacted my family. My son has grown up playing baseball through the Carol Stream Park District and mentored by "Coach Jim."

Jim has made a positive impact in the lives of his young athletes by not only teaching baseball skills and emphasizing the importance of exercise, but more importantly instilling problem solving skills, self-discipline and the importance of character in athletics and in life. The best part is that my son has gained these valuable life skills while playing a sport he loves from a mentor he looks up to and respects.

As a father and coach, Jim understands that when youth become engaged in community activities they develop the skills needed to be effective leaders. During the Memorial Tournament a few years ago, Jim worked with the boys to raise $1,000 for Honor Flight.

Beyond sports, Jim is the kind of person I want representing my family on the DuPage County Board. He has a proven track record of fighting for low taxes, voting for initiatives to keep our neighborhoods safe and enhancing the green space that sets DuPage County apart from our neighbors.
