Lake Villa boy finds syringe in candy bag

A trick-or-teater in Lake Villa found a syringe containing an unknown liquid in his bag of candy Monday night, police said.

The syringe did not have a needle attached.

The boy had been trick or treating in the Painted Lakes subdivision, according to police.
