Honor our veterans: Help NCH recognize our vets in flag-raising ceremony

ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, Ill. (November 1, 2016) - They performed their duty and proudly served our country. Now it is our duty to proudly honor them.

Join Northwest Community Healthcare (NCH) in honoring all our veterans who have served or are currently serving in the U.S. Armed Forces. Help NCH celebrate our veterans during two upcoming events:

• NCH will be showing the heartwarming documentary, Honor Flight, at 1 p.m., Tuesday, November 8, at the NCH auditorium, 800 W. Central Road, Arlington Heights. Veterans in attendance will be recognized at the conclusion of the movie. Register online or call 847-618-4968.

• NCH is hosting a special celebration and flag-raising ceremony on Veterans Day. The NCH Veterans Day Ceremony is scheduled at 10 a.m. Friday, November 11, on the east lawn of the hospital campus.

The flag-raising ceremony will be followed by brief remarks from Steve Scogna, chief executive officer of NCH, and a musical performance by Rolling Meadows High School's a cappella group. Following the flag-raising ceremony, veterans will be honored with refreshments inside the hospital near the east entrance.
