Crop for free at Scrapbook Club's anniversary celebration

The Arlington Heights Senior Center Scrapbook Club will celebrate its sixth anniversary by hosting an All-Day Scrapbook and Card Making Crop on Monday, Nov. 14; stop in anytime from 8:30 a.m. to 7:45 p.m.

The event is free, however you must make a reservation by calling the senior center at (847) 253-5532.

Ann Holda Wiewel, Scrapbook Club founder, is happy to share her love of scrapbooking with others.

"This club has provided myself and so many others a way to enjoy completing albums together," said Wiewel. "I have developed wonderful friendships and have enjoyed the company of ours who share my passion for photos and scrapbooking. All are welcome to come and join us."

There will be raffles, a for sale table of items you no longer need or want, and some demonstrations. Bring your own photos and supplies; the club has a variety of tools, easy for seniors to use, including a Sizzix and a Cricut. New members are always welcome.

The Arlington Heights Senior Center is at 1801 W. Central Road, in Arlington Heights.

For information on the event contact the Senior Center at (847) 253-5532.
