Strong judge candidate
The record shows that judges retain their seats for years. Once they are elected the only way to remove them from the bench is through the recall process. This hardly ever happens. That being said, it is important to select those best qualified, not because of political affiliation.
That is why I carefully study the individual qualifications of those running in the northwest suburban area where I live. I base my opinion on individuals who are best equipped to sit as a Judge regardless as whether they are running as a Democrat or a Republican.
Even though I am a long-standing Republican, I recommend that in the race for the 12th Subcircuit, the best choice is James Hanlon (running as a Democrat). He is rated "Qualified" by the Chicago Bar Association as well as by the Chicago Council of Lawyers.
He is considered to have good legal ability and temperament for the position of Judge of the Circuit Court. He has substantial trial experience that is necessary for this position.
Be sure to look down the names of the judge candidates on your ballot and select James Hanlon for the 12th Subcircuit. He has earned our support from experience and qualifications and not from political clout.
