Candy companies sweeten World Series for Cubs fans

Some iconic candy is sweetening the World Series for Chicago Cubs fans.

Chicago-based Wrigley is offering Wrigley Gum at 1908 prices - the last Cubs World Series championship - and turning back the clock on a pack of Wrigley gum to 5 cents now through Wednesday, Nov. 2. Chewing gum magnate William Wrigley controlled the team beginning in 1921 and the ballpark is named after him.

Customers can download a coupon at coupons.com and other sites for 30 cents off the 35-cent, 5-stick pack of Wrigley's Doublemint, Juicy Fruit, Spearmint, Winterfresh or Big Red gums.

Fannie May is offering a new collection of Cubs chocolates. Fans can stock up on Cubbies Milk Chocolate Bar in a nine-pack for $12.95 and a Wrigley Field Mix Box with 7 ounces for $9.95.
