Child safety program

Warren Township High School's Future Business Leaders of America student members will help on a Gurnee Park District safety program. The students will help to promote the LifeSmarts Safety Smart program as a way to mentor younger children and practice leadership skills. The students from Gurnee-based Warren District 121 are scheduled to make a presentation from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 5, on topics including safety at home, health and wellness. Children 4 and older may attend the free event at Hunt Club Park Community Center, 920 Hunt Club Road in Gurnee.
