Unwanted prescription drugs collection

Grayslake police and the federal Drug Enforcement Administration will collect unwanted prescription drugs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 22. Bring pills for disposal to the Grayslake Police Department, 10 S. Seymour Ave., or Hainesville village hall, 100 Hainesville Road. Officials said it's an opportunity to prevent pill abuse and theft by ridding homes of potentially dangerous expired, unused and unwanted prescription drugs. The DEA cannot accept liquids or needles or sharps, only pills or patches.
