DuPage Medical Group acquires OB-GYN practice
DOWNERS GROVE - DuPage Medical Group has acquired Southwest Women's Healthcare Associates, one of the area's leading OB-GYN providers.
Terms of the transaction were not made public.
DMG welcomes three board-certified obstetricians and gynecologists to its growing physician family:
•Dr. Dexter E. Arrington, who earned a medical degree from Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis and completed a residency in OB-GYN at Hutzel Hospital at Wayne State University in Detroit. His medical interests include minimally invasive surgeries and da Vinci Robotic surgery.
•Dr. Nanette James-Patrick, who earned a medical degree from the University of Iowa Medical School and completed an OB-GYN residency at Mercy Hospital and Medical Center in Chicago. Her medical interests include management of abnormal bleeding, fibroids, abnormal Pap smears, infertility and menopause.
•Dr. Shaunda Chin-Bonds, who earned a medical degree from Midwestern University in Downers Grove and completed an OB-GYN residency at St. James Hospital in Olympia Fields. Her medical interests include infertility and abnormal uterine bleeding.
All three physicians will continue seeing patients at 3700 W. 203rd St., Suite 110 in Olympia Fields, and at 1890 Silver Cross Blvd., Pavilion A, Suite 310 in New Lenox. In addition, the physicians will remain on staff at Advocate South Suburban Hospital, Silver Cross Hospital, as well as Franciscan St. James Hospital's Olympia Fields and Chicago Heights campuses.
